Brockton, MA – Shaynah M. Barnes, Brockton City Councilor-at-Large, announced today that she will run for State Representative for the 9th Plyrnouth District, a seat formerly held by Democrat Michael D. Brady, until his overwhelming victory on Tuesday (11/3) in his bid to fill the State Senate seat left vacant in the wake cf the passing of the late Senator Thomas P. Kennedy.
